Match Preview: Al Merrikh vs Al Ahly

Al Ahly’s football first-team is set to face Al Merrikh SC of Sudan on Friday in the fifth fixture of the CAF Champions League group stage at 6:00 PM at Al Ahly WE Al Salam Stadium.

The defending champions will aim to achieve an important win to increase our chances of qualifying for the next round of the competition.

The Red Eagles carried out their pre-match training session on Thursday at El Tetsh Stadium, where they concluded their preparations for Al Merrikh's game. 

After the team’s training, Pitso Mosimane, Al Ahly’s head coach, announced the squad for Friday’s game.
