Mosimane Speaks Ahead of FIFA Club World Semis  

Pitso Mosimane, Al Ahly's head coach, gave his thoughts about our game against Palmeiras of Brazil in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final.

"The game will be tough. We managed to defeat Palmeiras on penalties last year, and this shows that both teams are very strong. The two teams won the champions league for two times in a row and this reflects how strong they are."

"Al Ahly are in the FIFA Club World Cup. This is a good thing for the club and also the players. We are well prepared and we managed to come here despite all the obstacles that we faced."

"It is not easy to play with international players in tomorrow's game. Their fitness condition is not clear for us, but we trust the rest of the players." 

"Mohamed Sherif is a professional player and he that such circumstances happen in football. He must follow the same route as Amr El Soulia, who was focused on the CAF Super Cup game, despite scoring an own goal  previously the with Egyptian national team in the Arab Cup."

"I really appreciate what Palemiras coach said about Al Ahly. All the players must be proud of what he said and I can not find the suitable words to describe how great Palemiras is."

"I learnt alot from Carlos Alberto Perrera and I also use some of his tactics now.”

My dream is to stay for several years with Al Ahly and to be a legend, like Manuel Jose, who won four CAF Champions League titles during seven years. I hope to stay here for seven years. This is a hard thing to do, because Al Ahly is a great club and  I always do my best to meet Al Ahly's high expectations."
