Al Ahly’s football first team had a recovery session on Tuesday at El Tetsh Stadium to avoid picking up any muscle injuries after having a condensed schedule of games in the past month.
The Red Eagles are set to return to training on Wednesday in order to prepare for Friday’s encounter against Al Merrikh in the CAF Champions League group stage.
Al Ahly will face Al Merrikh SC on Friday at Al Ahly WE Al Salam Stadium in the fifth fixture of the CAF Champions League group stage.
