Al Ahly President Mahmoud El Khatib, Vice President Yassin Mansour, and Board Member Sayed Abdel Hafeez held an extensive meeting this afternoon to review the club's football sector.

Following the session, the leadership issued the following statement:

"We fully acknowledge and share the frustration and disappointment felt by Al Ahly’s members and supporters regarding the football team’s recent results.Despite receiving unwavering support, the team's performances have fallen short of the club's stature on both domestic and continental stages.

In light of the transparent and enduring bond between Al Ahly SC and its fans, a unity that defines us, especially in challenging times, and as we take full responsibility for the current situation, we wish to emphasize the following:

Acknowledgment of Shortcomings: We recognize the technical and administrative deficiencies that have occurred and understand their impact.

Decisive Action: A comprehensive remedy is currently being finalized. This restructuring will require a transitional period to ensure it is implemented effectively.

Strategic Decisions: Several key decisions have been reached regarding the football sector. Urgent measures will be announced shortly, while others will be deferred to protect the club’s interests for the remainder of the ongoing season.

Restructuring Process: The reassessment of the football sector has already begun under the supervision of Mr. Yassin Mansour and Captain Sayed Abdel Hafeez.

This process will evaluate every element of the sector to ensure alignment with Al Ahly’s identity and professional standards.
