The Red Eagles started on the front foot and we were confident after our strong start to the league.

Ali Maaloul had several runs behind the visitors' defense and our attacking line tried to break their defensive block.

In the 20th minute, Future FC were forced to complete the game with 10 men as Omar Kamel was sent off after a dangerous tackle against our defender Mohamed Abdelmonem.

In the 30th minute, Mohamed Magdy Afsha was close from breaking the deadlock when he entered the box of Future FC after dribbling two defenders but he did not shoot the ball in the right time.

The breakthrough was well deserved when it came two minutes later as Hussein El Shahat fired a shot from the edge of the box to open the score.

In the second half, we kept up the intensity aiming to double the score and secure the victory.

Four minutes after the break, El Shahat was close to adding his second goal in the match but his efforts were denied.

We failed to build on the advantage of having a first-half lead and the visitors were able to score the leveller in the 79th minute by El Ouadi.

Hossam Hassan who joined the game after the leveller was about to score from his first touch but his shot hit the bar.

We were awarded a penalty as Bruno Savio was tackled inside the box but Afsha's shot hit the bar.
