Al Ahly’s first-team football squad has begun preparations for their upcoming match against Ghazl El Mahalla, scheduled for next Tuesday in the third round of the Egyptian League Cup’s preliminary stage.
The team resumed training on Sunday in Nasr City after a 24-hour rest granted by the coaching staff following their previous match against Ceramica Cleopatra.
The session started with a series of physical exercises, followed by specialized drills overseen by the coaching staff.
The training concluded with an intense practice match as part of the team’s preparations for the upcoming clash.
The Red Eagles had previously secured a 1-0 victory over Ceramica Cleopatra, with a goal from Taher Mohamed Taher, in their second match of the Cairo Capital Cup at the Arab Contractors Stadium.
