Al Ahly football director Wael Gomaa has revealed when the club’s international players will return to first-team training as preparations continue for the resumption of official competition.
Gomaa said the players who joined the Egypt senior national team will return to training on 6 October, following the conclusion of their international duty.
Algerian midfielder Monsef Bekrar will join the squad’s training session on October 8 after completing his international commitments with Algeria.
Al Ahly resumed training this evening at the El Tetsh Stadium after the players were given a day off following their friendly against Misr El Maqassa.
The Red Giants are preparing for the return of competitive action, with a match against Petrojet scheduled for 7 October in the Egypt Capital Cup.
