Al Ahly resumed training on Monday evening at El-Tetsh Stadium as the team began preparations for the upcoming Egyptian Premier League fixture against Al Ittihad of Alexandria, scheduled for Wednesday.
Head coach Jess Thorup held a meeting with the players ahead of the session to underline the importance of the match and stressed the need to secure all three points to maintain the club’s strong start to the league campaign.
The squad went through a variety of training drills under the supervision of the coaching staff, focused on ensuring full match readiness.
The session came just a day after the team returned from Burundi, where Al Ahly claimed a 1-0 away win over Aigle Noir in the first leg of the CAF Champions League round of 32.
