Al Ahly resumed training on Tuesday as they prepared for Friday’s League Cup match against Enppi, holding their session at the club’s Nasr City facility.
Head coach Jess Thorup gave a brief team talk on the pitch before the workout, outlining priorities for the coming period after promoting several youth players to cover for senior internationals away with Egypt and the Arab Cup squad.
The squad completed a series of fitness drills before moving to position-specific work and finished with a high-intensity training game as part of the coaching staff’s programme for the week.
