Al Ahly women’s handball team will take on Angola’s Petro Atletico in the final of the African Women’s Handball Championship on Monday.
The match will be held at Mohammed V Hall in Casablanca at 18:00 Cairo local time (GMT+2), as Morocco hosts the 46th edition of the continental tournament, running from Oct. 11 to 20.
The Red Eagles opened their campaign with a 34-21 win over Cameroon’s Kalara Yaounde, followed by a commanding 47-17 victory against Morocco’s Ittihad Nouasseur.
They reached the semifinals with a 40-30 win over Benin’s Flowers, then booked their spot in the final by defeating Cameroon’s FAP 23-19 on Saturday.
