Al Ahly women’s handball player Kenzy Hatem has undergone surgery to repair a knee ligament injury, the club’s medical staff confirmed on Tuesday.
Hatem is expected to be sidelined for an extended period as she begins rehabilitation.
Al Ahly’s technical staff expressed confidence in the player’s ability to return stronger following a full recovery.
