Amr El Gendy, Al Ahly basketball player, conveyed his happiness after winning the Arab Club Basketball Championship. 

The Eagles secured the title after defeating Kuwait SC 78-66 in the final minutes of the game.  

Following the match, El Gendy spoke about the team’s journey throughout the tournament on the victory and spoke about his ambitions for the rest of the season. 

“We deserved to win this title. We had many tough games during the competition, but we managed to reach the final and clinch the title.” 

“We have many big challenges this season, but we are all keen to achieve more trophies in the future.”

Our men’s basketball team was able to win the competition in style, as they were able to win all of our games in the tournament.
