Al Ahly Football Company appoints Nayera Ali as acting CEO

The Board of Directors of Al Ahly's Football Company has appointed Nayera Ali as Acting CEO, succeeding Amir Tawfik, who stepped down due to professional commitments abroad.

Ali’s appointment is in line with Al Ahly’s broader strategy to bring fresh vision and leadership to the company, which oversees the club’s football operations, commercial deals, and strategic partnerships.

At its most recent meeting, the Board expressed full confidence in Ali’s abilities, highlighting her proven competence and leadership in managing both marketing and commercial portfolios.

The board also emphasized her extensive experience and strong relationships with local and international sports organizations.

Prior to this role, Ali served as the Commercial Director at Al Ahly. She is widely recognized for her strategic marketing expertise and her commitment to aligning business objectives with long-term success.
