Al Ahly start preparations for Smouha league game

Al Ahly’s football team have begun preparations for their upcoming Egyptian Premier League clash against Smouha, scheduled for Thursday in the third matchday of the domestic competition.

The team trained without a rest day at the Mokhtar El Tetsh Stadium at the club’s headquarters in Gezira following their 2-0 victory over ZED FC in the second matchday of the league.

A group of players underwent recovery sessions in the gym and on the pitch, while the rest of the squad played a training match against Delfi SC as part of the preparations to ensure all players are ready for the upcoming fixtures.

The Red Eagles secured their second league victory of the season by beating ZED FC 2-0, with goals from Achraf Bencharki and Taher Mohamed Taher.

They opened their league campaign with a 3-2 victory over ENPPI last week.
