Al Ahly SC's first-team coaching staff has confirmed that the club's international players will resume training on 27 July following their post-2026 FIFA World Cup break.
The Red Eagles contingent represented their respective national teams at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which was staged across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The returning players are Mohamed El Shenawy, Mostafa Shobeir, Mohamed Hany, Emam Ashour, Marwan Attia, Yasser Ibrahim and Ahmed Sayed "Zizo", along with Youssef Belammari, who represented Morocco at the tournament.
