Al Ahly’s new signing, Mohamed Asran, expressed his happiness after signing a 4-year contract with our men’s volleyball team on Saturday.

Following his presentation, we had the chance to meet Asran and discuss his ambitions with the team and how he feels after becoming one of the "Masters”.

“It’s a dream come true. I’ve been supporting Al Ahly ever since I was a child and I always dreamt of playing alongside Abdallah Abdelsalam and Ahmed Salah.”

“Playing for Al Ahly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; therefore, I will fight for my spot in the team to show that I deserve to be here.”

“I have a good relationship with all the players, as we played together on the national team. Thus, I believe I will delve quickly into the team.”

“Personally, I can’t wait to start the pre-season with the team and give my maximum to live up to the coaching staff’s expectations.”

Asran continued by saying that he is well aware that next season will be a tough one; as all teams will aim to strengthen their squad.

Finally, Asran thanked Al Ahly fans for their support in the last couple of days and promised them to deliver more trophies in the upcoming period.
