El Shahat delighted to extend Al Ahly stay, eyes more titles

Al Ahly first-team winger Hussein El Shahat has expressed his delight after signing a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2028, describing his continued stay with the Red Eagles as a source of immense pride.

"I'm very happy to renew my contract with Al Ahly. My journey with my home continues, and I look forward to achieving more success alongside my teammates and making our fans happy," El Shahat said.

El Shahat emphasized his deep connection with the club, insisting he never imagined leaving Al Ahly or its famed El Tetsh training ground.

"Al Ahly is my home, and my relationship with the club will always be built on love and respect. I never imagined being away from the club or El Tetsh," he added.
