Al Ahly will look to extend their unbeaten run at the Women’s Basketball League Africa (WBLA) when they face Angola’s Sporting Clube de Luanda in their third Group A game on Tuesday, with a quarter-final place on the line.
The match tips off at 19:30 local time (1730 GMT) at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall in Cairo, where Al Ahly are hosting the tournament from 5 to 15 December.
Al Ahly were drawn in Group A with REG BBC of Rwanda, Friends Basketball Association of Côte d’Ivoire and Sporting Luanda.
The hosts opened their campaign with a 91-62 win over Friends Basketball Association before cruising past REG BBC 88-60 to maintain their perfect start.
