Al Ahly will kick off a new era under interim coach Emad El Nahas as they face Enppi in the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday at Arab Contractors Stadium.

Al Ahly’s first football team resumed training on Thursday, with international players returning after completing their national duties in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Al Ahly midfielder Emam Ashour returned to action on Monday, featuring in a friendly match against the club’s youth team as part of preparations for the resumption of the Egyptian Premier League following the international break.
